Fizzy Orange Stuff (pt 1)

I was dumpster diving on Folsom street and found a whole bunch of useful art materials, one in particular was about 200 pieces of orange-printed card stock. they were about 8"x6" printed with the logo of an aviation company on one side and pantone orange on the other. Needless to say I wasn't go to let these end up in the landfill, there's just too much stuff I can do with them.

So they are currently beginning to be in usage as tape and cd covers, as well as 2-d art pieces. Here are a couple of thing done so far with them. The tapes and cd's will be posted about in a separate post.

Too busy creatng to blog! But it's a good thing.

The start of 2016 brought about some really interesting developments for me creatively. It felt like I was finally able to get into doing the kind of media manipulation and reuse art I had been doing in Eugene, Oregon with the wellspring of overlooked and unused 'art materials' to be found here in SF. there's been quite a lot to showcase, and now, having taken a small amount of time away from the creative process, I can  start posting reports. That being said, the next posts coming are about the actual pieces and not an explanation, like this one is, of why they haven't been and are now being posted about.
